| Description: | Job Scope: Experienced Plant Manager with 5 + years in the printing or packaging industry. We are looking for a dedicated plant manager with a successful track record of supervising and motivating employees, exceeding production goals, and improving the overall operations of a manufacturing facility.
This position is responsible for directing and managing all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, production support, maintenance, materials, quality, and other production-related activities. Implement policies and procedures, recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer also based in Anderson, SC. Travel will be negligible. A relocation package would be negotiable for the right candidate with the right mix of relevant experience.
Our markets are in the durable goods, industrial, automotive, and appliance industries.
Compensation: This is a full time position which pays an annual salary plus incentives for quarterly bonuses. The benefits package includes Medical and Dental Insurance, 401K with Company Match, and Short and Long-term disability.

| Duties: | Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the Anderson, SC facility
- Supervise the planning of efficient production activities and the best use of material for all jobs
- Directly supervise the Pre-Press Supervisor and Production Supervisors
- Motivate and train employees to perform at peak levels
- Monitor, and adjust as needed, the production schedule to maintain on time delivery and avoid unnecessary downtime
- Meet or exceed daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance goals
- Lead employees by example, instilling dedication, commitment, and the continuous drive for excellence
- Develop ways to achieve desired results with the resources available

| Qualifications: | - Bachelor’s Degree in a business or manufacturing related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 + years of successful plant management experience in the pressure sensitive label, commercial print, or industrial packaging industries
- Knowledge and understanding of working within ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and improving production lines, processes, and employees
- Successful record of encouraging and fostering team-work in a high-pressure, high-demand production environment
- Knowledge of and ability to operate printing presses & converting equipment
- Ability to prioritize and delegate projects
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as required by the work schedule
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
- Good manual dexterity
- Standard color perception and vision corrected to 20/20
- Good personal hygiene and neat appearance
- Physically able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Physically able to bend, stoop, and reach in performing duties
- Job requires standing and walking for most of the shift
- Plant environment with varying temperatures and exposure to medium to high noise levels
